Introducing the Wouxun KG-905G Plus, the next generation of the highly acclaimed KG-905G series! Designed with the serious GMRS power user, the KG-905G Plus lets you take advantage of all that the original 905G has to offer, and adds a something more, right out of the box!

Equipped with Bluetooth audio, the KG-905G Plus allows pairing with compatible Bluetooth headsets and devices, providing convenient hands-free operation ideal for more mobile operation, outdoor adventures, and group activities. Whether hiking, camping, or just around the neighborhood, the KG-905G Plus delivers reliable performance and added versatility.

The KG-905G transmits on all 15 high powered GMRS simplex channels, 8 low powered simplex channels and all 8 GMRS repeater channels at up to 5 watts of power, with no special programming needed. It supports up to 400 custom channels with standard and non-standard CTCSS tones and DCS codes to eliminate unwanted interference. Want the split tones from the original version? You've got them! CTCSS/DCS tone scan? You've got that too. The KG-905G Plus makes it easy to locate and configure tones and codes to match existing radios in your group.

It has the standard features of GMRS handheld transceivers, including as channel scan, timeout timer, roger beep, button beeps and VOX. Priority Channel Scan, built-in voltage meter, selectable power, selectable wide and narrow bandwidth, English voice prompts, the FM radio and even a built-in stopwatch are all there too, but that's just the norm. Then there is the more advanced functionality.

Wouxun takes the KG-905G Plus even further with two configurable side keys and two configurable front keys, for a total of four, yes that's 4, programmable function keys! That's not all. Each key can perform two different functions, one activated with a short press and one with a long press. This gives your KG-905G Plus radio a grand total of eight, yes 8, user programmable functions! How awesome is that? Pretty awesome, we'd say.

And the display? It's updated as well. Of course, the LCD text display is professional grade, with high visibility, easy to read icons, customizable channel names and a user selectable Power On message. And the upgrade? It now has 7 Selectable Backlight Colors! You can also select different backlight colors for transmit, receive and standby modes as well. Awesome!

But it isn't just functionality that sets the KG-905G Plus apart from the rest of the pack. It's also durability. The KG 905G is rated IP66 for dust and water protection, which means it can take the harsh rigors of outdoor elements with ease! This transceiver has complete protection against contact with dust, and can take water projected from any direction in powerful jets from a 12.5mm nozzle.
