The Ritron RBS Series Tier-2 DMR Wireless Intercom/Base Station helps your staff stay in communication inexpensively without the need for multiple, individually assigned portable radios! The RBS-477DMR is a cost-effective, AC-powered, fixed-location two-way radio built for commercial and industrial applications. Its rugged all-metal steel enclosure houses a compact unit that runs on 110VAC, with optional 12VDC operation. There are no batteries to charge or replace. Compatible with most UHF DMR business band radios, the RBS works with PR-series DMR portables, Ritron wireless PA systems, and radio callboxes. It can also be programmed to work through radio repeaters.

The RBS 477DMR has a bright, backlit LCD display with a two-line alphanumeric channel and 8 alphanumeric characters per line. Dual-mode operation covers DMR digital and analog across 450–470 MHz UHF business band frequencies at up to 2.5 watts. It supports 50 CTCSS tones and dealer-programmed digital squelch codes.

Configure up to 20 channels/RX groups and store up to 48 group or individual contacts in any combination per channel, plus program up to 10 analog contacts per channel. Channel Scan monitors multiple channels without manual switching.

the RBS-477DMR features Channel Scan, Call Tone, programmable soft key, and encode/decode capability for either DTMF, Selcall, and 2-Tone paging. DTMF expands control and alerting options for paging portables or remotely operating gates, doors, sirens, or other devices. It all comes wrapped in a heavy duty, all-steel enclosure, giving the RBS Series the durability needed for commercial and industrial applications.

Hardware highlights include a 1 watt output speaker for loud, easy-to-hear audio, narrowband 12.5 kHz operation, and a BNC antenna fitting. I/O includes a 3.5 mm earphone jack that disconnects the internal speaker and a 2.5 mm microphone/PTT jack that disconnects the internal microphone.
