Next, the Midland GXT740 boasts an amazing 5 watts of power, allowing for a range of up to 34 miles in optimal conditions (typically 2 miles or less in urban conditions). The GXT740VP3 is a full featured FRS/GMRS radio and is packed with features.
The Midland LXT480VP3 two way radio provides a maximum range of up to 24 miles in optimal conditions (typically less than 1.5 miles in urban conditions)! This radio supports all 22 standard FRS and GMRS channels and adds 14 extra channels for a total of 36 channels! Support is also provided for 121 privacy codes per channel on the standard channels.
