The Olympus WS-100 digital voice recorder is a great value, delivering a great feature set for the price. The Olympus WS-100 has 64 MB of built in memory, enough to store 27 hours of recordings (in low quality mode). Three recording quality modes are supported.

The Olympus WS100 also supports computer connectivity (Windows or Mac). This model can also be used as a standard USB drive, capable of storing any type of file (not just recordings). This means that while connected to a computer you can use the WS-100 just like you would a floppy disk, for transferring files to a different computer. Of course, recordings made on the WS-100 can also be transferred to the computer.

The Olympus WS-100 supports fast and slow playback, and provides 5 folders for organizing your recordings. This WS-100 also allows you to set up to 16 index marks per file. An index mark is a bookmark that lets you quickly return to a specific point in the recording.

The Olympus WS-100 includes stereo earphones, a neck strap, USB cable, and AAA battery.
