The Motorola Talkabout MD200R two way radio is a great choice for general purpose communications. The MD200R offers a rugged housing in a compact design and big buttons that are easy to press, even when wearing gloves. It fits easily in small hands, making it an excellent for use by kids of all ages!
The MD200 has all the basic features, such as channel scan, talk confirmation tone and ten call tones. Other features include low battery alert, a backlit display, and battery meter. This is a good radio use on the playground, the campground, around the neighborhood, or at the mall. It also makes a great gift for mom!
The Motorola MD200R is compatible with all FRS/GMRS radios. It supports 22 channels with up to 20 miles of range in ideal conditions (less than 1 mile in urban conditions).
The MD200R operates on either three AAA alkaline batteries or a NiMH rechargeable battery packs (rechargeable battery packs included). This value pack includes two Motorola MD200 radios, rechargeable batteries, belt clips,AC adapter with Y connector, owner's manual and a one year manufacturer warranty.
