This model supports hands-free (VOX) operation with the use of optional accessories, and offers a call tone. The GXT-250 is also water resistant, offers a channel scan feature, and allows you to select from high or low power modes. Each Midland GXT-250 two way radio requires 4 AAA batteries, which are not included.
