Kenwood ProTalk NX-P500 is a UHF digital business two way radio with dual mode NXDN and FM analog capability in a very compact package. Designed for education, hospitality, restaurant and retail, the NX-P500 puts powerful performance and versatility in a small, lightweight profile for instant communications between your employees at the push of a button.

The ProTalk NX-P500 has 99 user programmable memory bank frequencies at 450-470 MHz UHF. It transmits at 2 watts with up to 15.5 hours uptime on a 2200mAh battery pack with the battery saver feature enabled. It has a built-in 750mW speaker for loud and clear audio and a bright LCD display with easy to read icons and channel ID. It also has a 7 color LED indicator for transmit status, call alerts and color coding groups.

The NX-P500 features digital and analog mixed mode operation, NXDN digital scrambler and compander. It is also equipped with VOX (Voice Activated Transmit) for hands-free operation and offers Fleetsync® paging. It supports 45 QT and 174 DQT user programmable signaling. The NX-P500 also supports wireless cloning and can be used with repeaters to extend range.

The NX-P500 is a radio with solid performance. It is also tough. It is MIL-STD compliant and is rated IP67 against dust and immersion.
