First they introduced the Passport Max. Now, they take it to the max again with the Escort Passport Max2! With built-in Bluetooth® and GPS functionality, The Max2 combines high performance with sleek style for a new type of radar detector that's as smart as it looks!

The Passport Max2 has a powerful receiver equipped with Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology for faster scans and more advanced warning against "instant on" radar threats. It also has the ability to separate radar signals from RF interference and extraneous signals and "noise" for even accuracy.

The Passport Max2 improves on the unique multi-color graphic OLED display that was first introduced in the original Max. Brilliant graphics allow you to quickly and easily identify threats. The display colors are also user-selectable, so you can choose the color that best matches the look and ambiance of your vehicle's interior.

The Escort Max2 is pre-loaded with thousands of red light and fixed position speed camera locations, thanks to its built-in Defender® database. When coupled with a smartphone via Bluetooth and the Escort Live! app, the Max2 can access Escort's real-time ticket-protection network online and warn you of threats reported by other drivers in the area in, well, real time you can even mark your own hot spots of red light cameras, speed cameras and other activity using Escort's exclusive Mark Location feature!

Of course, it wouldn't be a Max2 without all of the other features of an Escort Max, and it certainly has them. Cruise alert, AutoMute, SmartMute, Autolearn, Variable Speed Sensitivity, crystal clear voice alerts, tone alerts, Traffic Sensor Rejection (TSR) software to filter out false alerts, selectable bands and selectable markers are all a part of the Max2 package.

The Escort Passport Max2 is packed with a 12 volt SmartCord™, Sticky Cup windshield mount, soft-sided travel case, quick reference guide and a one year manufacturer warranty from Escort.

Graphic OLED Display Modes

The Passport Max2 features a new multi-color graphic display with icons to identify the type of threat at a glance. The backlit colors are user-selectable so you can choose the color that works best with the gauges in your vehicle. Note: Speed limit data displays when Passport Max2 is connected to the ESCORT Live app on your smartphone. The Passport Max2 display has 4 possible modes:

In the Standard Mode, the Escort Passport Max2 will show one band that was detected and a bar graph representing the signal strength.
In ExpertMeter™ mode, the Max2 can identify band and relative signal strength of up to 4 radar signals at once.
In SpecDisplay™ mode, the detector will show the band and actual frequency being detected.
In Simple mode, the detector will show simple messages instead of the frequency and signal strength.

The SmartCord™ accessory is a unique power cord with a power-on indicator, an alert lamp that warns you of radar and laser, and a convenient mute button right on the lighter plug! It's the perfect addition for any car when reaching the detector's mute button on the windshield is a stretch. Also, for discreet night driving, put your Passport Max2 detector in the dark mode, and use the SmartCord™ for visual alerts. Other drivers won't know you have a detector.
