The Whistler XTR-575 radar detector is a full featured radar detector at a value price. The XTR-575 detects POP mode radar, provides a 72 point digital compass, and offers a blue backlit text display. A selectable band feature allows any individual band to be disabled, to help eliminate false alerts.

The XTR-575 also features Whistler's new attention grabbing feature, the dual LED alert periscope. Two blue LED's sit atop the XTR-575 and flash when you receive an alert, helping to grab your attention.

The Whistler XTR-575 also features 3 city modes, which allows you to adjust your tolerance false alerts. An Alert Priority feature makes sure the most important alert is displayed if multiple alerts are detected. Other features include a battery saver, and 3 adjustable levels of brightness.

The Whistler XTR-575 is compatible with Whistler's optional Intelli-Cord Power Cable. The Intelli-Cord provides a programmable button on the base of the power cord to which you can assign your choice of two features. You can have the IntelliCord button control any two of the following: Power On/Off, City Modes, Dim/Dark, and Quiet/Auto Quiet. A short button press activates the first feature, a long press activates the second!
