PNI Sensoro Steel Eye Rechargeable (RW3100)
The original PNI Steel Eye was the first cordless radar detector to claim protection against POP radar. Now with this new Steel Eye, the RW3100, PNI has added a built-in battery charger which allows you to use rechargeable batteries! No more buying replacement batteries!
The included power cord will fully charge the Steel Eye in 2.5 hours. With the POP mode option enabled, expect 25 to 32 hours of use from a full battery; without POP mode, expect 30-40 hours. The included NiMH batteries do not require draining before recharging, and they can be charged an estimated 800 times before needing to be replaced!
The Steel Eye RW3100 will operate on two rechargeable AA batteries or with a 12 volt power cord (included). It also features an audio jack for attaching an external earpiece (sold separately). The wireless option and audio jack make this a good, affordable option for the motorcyclist.
