The Motorola MU350R is well equipped for the great outdoors. A soft overmold shell gives it durability with a comfortable grip, so you can carry it in adverse weather conditions and rugged terrain. With an IP-54 rating from dust and wet weather, this radio is ready for outdoor adventure. NOAA weather channels and weather alerts keep you informed of your outdoor environment so you can prepare for emergencies such as severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, flash floods, winter storms, emergency evacuations and Amber Alerts. The MU350R is also equipped with an emergency alert button and built-in LED flashlight just in case you need one. Whether fishing, hiking, hunting, camping, or just out in the neighborhood, the Motorola MU350R can be a very handy radio to have along.

The Talkabout MU350R is also powerful, providing up to 35 miles of range in ideal conditions (typically up to 2 miles in urban conditions). It features 22 channels and 121 privacy codes for full access to FRS and GMRS frequencies. Talkabout Clear reduces distortion at high volume for enhanced sound quality. Other features include hands-free iVox functionality, Quiet Talk filter, Push-To-Talk Power Boost, and Motorola's VibraCall® vibrating alert to bring you a powerful two way radio that's ready to go where ever you want to be.

The MU350R is also easy to power with dual power options. As with other Talkabout radios, the MU350R operates on a NiMH reachargeable battery pack, and the radio can be dropped into an optional desktop charger (sold separately). The included mini-USB AC wall charger has dual connectors to charge a pair of radios simultaneously. The mini-USB charging port also allows you to charge the radio with an optional mini-USB car charger or directly from your PC when no other power source is available. No charging? No problem! The MU350R also operates using 3 standard AA alkaline batteries when recharging on the go is not an option.
