The Cobra LI4900-2 WX VP two way radio delivers high power and great battery life (10 hours) in a small package. At 5 1/2 inches tall including the antenna (3 1/2" without) and 2 inches wide, this is one of the smallest consumer radios available. This is possible because the radio uses lithium batteries, which are smaller than typical two way radio batteries and just as powerful!
The Cobra LI-4900-2WXVP has a maximum range of 18 miles in ideal conditions. The LI4900 supports all 22 FRS and GMRS channels with 121 privacy codes per channel.
Features of the Cobra LI4900-2 WX VP include support for NOAA weather channels. This is a great option if you are into outdoor activities. The LI4900 also offers Cobra's VibrAlert paging feature, in which the radio alerts you of an incoming transmission by vibrating instead of a tone. The LI-4900 will act as a speakerphone when you enable the VOX hands-free operation feature. It also features a 10 channel memory, selectable (high/low) power, and channel scan.
